Fortunate Youth

Kash’d Out

Kashd out Orlando Florida reggae bandEmerging from Orlando, FL, Kash’d Out has made a significant impact on the Reggae/Rock scene since the release of their debut album, The Hookup, in 2017. This album catapulted them onto the national touring circuit and earned them slots at renowned festivals. The infectious hooks and memorable sing-along choruses of songs on The Hookup resonated with fans nationwide, resulting in overwhelming support for the band. Renowned for their relentless work ethic, Kash’d Out has earned a reputation as one of the hardest-working bands in the reggae-rock genre. Their dedicated and passionate fanbase continues to expand with each city they visit and every show they perform. Adding to their repertoire, Kash’d Out’s upcoming album, Butter, features collaborations with Katastro, Pepper, and Shwayze, set to release on June 9th.

Dubbest

Dubbest reggae band group photoDubbest has been carving its own path in the reggae genre since 2009, blending traditional roots with improvisational skills reminiscent of dub pioneers like King Tubby and Lee Perry, as well as the live explorations of bands like the Grateful Dead and Phish. Originally inspired by punk and ska, the band’s musical approach changed when they discovered Augustus Pablo’s Ital Dub, influencing their introspective bass and drum grooves and textured interplay of instruments and vocals. Their third album, Light Flashes, showcases their growth and collaboration with producer Dubfader, resulting in a polished sound that pays homage to the golden era of reggae. With a blend of energetic tracks and dub instrumentals, the album stands out as a worthy successor to reggae legends. Dubbest’s live performances allow them to showcase their talent and spontaneity, expanding on their dub sections and surprising the audience with deep reggae cuts. The Gothic Theatre

The Gothic Theatre Denver ColoradoLocated in Englewood, Colorado, The Gothic Theatre is a former movie theater that has been transformed into a popular music venue. Built in the 1920s, it underwent a significant restoration in 1998, saving it from demolition and elevating it to one of Colorado’s most renowned theaters. The historical interior was preserved during the renovation, while various aspects were redesigned and enhanced, including a fresh paint scheme, a new wrap-around balcony, and a renovated marquee. Managed by AEG Live since 2013, The Gothic Theatre has hosted numerous notable shows, featuring both local and nationally recognized bands such as Slayer, Beastie Boys, and The Black Keys. In addition to music, the venue also showcases film screenings and comedy tours. With a capacity of nearly 1000, it offers a full bar and a combination of standing room and seated sections. Despite liquor restrictions in Denver, The Gothic Theatre can serve alcohol at their shows due to their location in Englewood.
