Dubbest reggae band group photoDubbest has been carving its own path in the reggae genre since 2009, blending traditional roots with improvisational skills reminiscent of dub pioneers like King Tubby and Lee Perry, as well as the live explorations of bands like the Grateful Dead and Phish. Originally inspired by punk and ska, the band’s musical approach changed when they discovered Augustus Pablo’s Ital Dub, influencing their introspective bass and drum grooves and textured interplay of instruments and vocals.
