Wake Up & Live

Wake Up and Live is Colorado’s premier Bob Marley tribute band. Guitarist and vocalist, Dave Halchak, first assembled the group of like-minded musicians back in 2013 for a Bob Marley tribute show. Since then, the band has continued to grow and perform together and perfect their songs. The group consists of seven core musicians, with featured percussionists, horn players and singers making occasional appearances on stage and in rehearsals. The band is known for putting a creative twist on the Marley classics, while still keeping true to the message and the music that he wrote. Wake Up & Live has taken the stage at many of Colorado’s top music venues, such as The Fox Theater, The Belly Up, Cervantes, The Aggie Theater, The Boulder Theater, and many more. 

The band puts together a good series of tribute shows around Bob Marley’s birthday month (February) every year, but also performs regularly around the state the rest of the year. You can listen to some of their live recordings on SoundCloud and view some of their many live performances on their YouTube channel as well.
