Tatanka is a four-piece electronic/dub/reggae band hailing from Denver Colorado. Tatanka has been together as an act since 2010. The band has toured across the US and Canada and shared the stage with many big-name reggae acts such as Stick Figure, Tribal Seeds, Fortunate Youth, and Easy Star Allstars. In conjunction with a heavy tour schedule, Tatanka has also played a multitude of festivals including California Roots, Powell-a-Palooza, Desert Rocks, Arise, and a plethora of others. Tatanka’s unique sound never fails to unify the crowd at live shows, with a danceable tunes and positive vibes.
Tatanka released their first full length studio album titled, “John Dunbar,” in 2011 as well as an EP in 2013 titled, “Cloudless Thunder.” The band’s self-titled album was released in 2014 and was produced by E.N Young in his Imperial Sound Recording Studio. The band has also recorded and released a number of singles in between full album releases.
