Bio
Irie Still is a Colorado based reggae and world music band that has been performing around the state for over 25 years. Their music consists of many original reggae tunes as well as some very danceable ska, calypso, and African music songs. They have shared the stage with many reggae greats, such as Burning Spear, Black Uhuru, Eek-A-Mouse, and Yellowman, just to name a few. They are recognized by many for their regular performances headlining what was formerly the Reggae on Broadway series at Herman’s Hideaway,
Irie Still has helped lay the early foundation for what is now a booming reggae scene in Denver and in Ganjarado as a whole. Irie Still founder and frontman, Ras Ronny Noel, has his roots in Trinidad & Tobago, where he first started performing music on stage as a young child. He has since gained wide recognition for his charismatic showmanship leading Irie Still as a singer, songwriter, and percussionist.
The band’s has two full-length studio albums out, as well as many singles and videos they have released themselves. Their self-titled album, “Irie Still” and their album titled, “Revolution Time” were both released on the Distrophonix record label.
