Third World
Third World is one of the longest standing legendary Jamaican reggae groups still performing today. Formed in the early 1970’s, Third World has released 22 studio albums during their 45+ years as a band. Their most recent album, “More Work to Be Done” came out in 2019. Stephen “Cat” Coore (guitar) and Richard Daley (bass) are two of the founding members and they are still in the group today. The bands original vocalist, William Clark “Bunny Rugs” passed away in 2014 and AJ Brown is now the new vocalist for the band. Throughout their nearly 5 decades performing, the band has gained and lost a variety of other talented musicians. The band has received 10 separate grammy nominations for their music and songs such as “96 degrees in the shade” and “Reggae Ambassador” have gained them world wide recognition across generations of music lovers. Although they are certainly ambassadors of reggae music, their style is not strictly reggae, with notable elements of funk, pop, and rock in a great deal of their songs.
Black Uhuru
Black Uhuru is a legendary Jamaican reggae band from the early 1970’s, who have achieved massive success throughout their career and are still playing shows today. Derrick “Duckie” Simpson is one of the original founders, along with Don Carlos, and Garth Dennis. In the nearly 50 years Black Uhuru has been performing music, the band has released 12 full length albums and have been nominated 8 times for Grammy awards. Popular tracks from their earliest albums, such as,”Sponji Reggae” and “Guess Who’s Coming To Dinner” have become reggae music anthems that are still played around the world today.

Indubious has collaborated with many top reggae artists, including Sizzla, Vaughn Benjamin, and Mike Love, as well as shared the stage with countless other legendary groups.
